Madeleine and Neil are sweet-talked by Monsieur Beaumont to get Married on the Caribbean island where he resides. Little do they know however, that Beaumont's motives are purely selfish as he intends to persuade the beautiful young girl, jMadeleine, to run away with him. For help, Beaumont turns tot he deceitful Legendre ( Bela Lugosi), a man who turns people into zombies by way fo a mysterious potion. After using Legendre's zombie potion on Madeleine, Beaumont becomes unhappy with her unaffected being and demands that she be changed back. Legendre, by now taken with the beautiful Madeleine himself, refuses and moves to add Beaumont to his zombie collection. Can Neil come to the rescue or will he too face an untimely fate?
